To the left of the main entrance is the lounge bar furnished with wooden-topped tables, captains chairs and wooden perimeter seats. A wooden servery extends into the room, which shares the central fireplace with the public bar. On occasions the Ghost has been sighted passing through, dressed
in the period costume of a Cavalier.

To the rear is the spectacular 32-seater Restaurant, a barn conversion with an impressive vaulted timber ceiling & its exposed brickwork, panelled walls, polished wooden tables and captains chairs it provides a charming dining experience. This combines to make a very attractive Restaurant / function room facility which has proved especially popular for corporate events and family or group dining.
A 16th., century country inn, built around the time of Oliver Cromwell, & the English civil war, it is said to be haunted by a cavelier Ghost who appears to the chosen and brings good luck.
